Are we there yet??

2021, here we come!

I think we can all agree it was nice to see the other side of 2020.

While we were busy acclimating to sudden remote working environments, some projects and initiatives may have been put on hold while remote teams found their footing.

In 2021, we have the opportunity to get our projects and goals back on track - to be proactive instead of reactive to our information governance and enterprise content management initiatives.

Looking ahead to 2021

What can we do to get our new-year content and information management efforts headed in the right direction?

Toss the trash
The easiest and fastest project to prove ROI is the identification and elimination of Redundant, Obsolete and Trivial data: ROT. With average content environments housing 30-40% ROT, organizations can save (human) time, (manual) effort and money (storage costs) by removing content that doesn't need to be there.

Plan ahead
Yes, we need to get on top of our 2021 planning, but project planning and budget allocations for 2022 initiatives will be underway before we know it. Get a head start on prioritizing and building a solid information management strategy into your enterprise mix.

Land & expand
The solutions that worked for Legal may not be cookie-cutter for HR, but you can take the common threads, methodologies and applications that worked well in one group and adapt and apply those learnings to other teams as you move throughout content groups your organization.
